Thoughts of Example Animation

The Animation example which was shown was good in the concept of models and location but on the other hand the voice over which was explaining the animation was very dull and boring, there was no change in tone which made the animation lack tension or excitement, this could ultimately mean the audio was rushed or not the right team member was chosen for that particular role.

Although the good side from the animation was the water effect was good when the water was still but as soon as the bombs hit the water the sequence lacked the right particle effect to again add the excitement the animation was lacking which may mean that there was a lack of project management or again the wrong team member within the group was given that role.

One other problem with the bomb effect is that the bombs supposedly exploded but there was no fire or bright colours from that explosion that make the bomb have an impact of the final perception of the animation sequence from the viewer which meant that the final outcome looked boring in that aspect.

The final thought on the sequence created is that its understandable what the team tried to create also the idea of the storyline is good and the message did manage to get across of what was trying to be recreated. On the other hand the planes could have been aligned a bit better in the sense of less planes could have been used so that more focus could have been put in the spinning of the front propellers and also once the battleships had been hit by the bombs there could have been multiple explosions to show the ship being destroyed with the correct bomb effect to help the effect look more alive or exciting instead of the fade to smoke. Another element of the project that could have been improved is the character hands and maps could have been created better, also possibly showing more of the characters and a clear view of the map to add the necessary tension to the final sequence.

Overall the final conclusion towards the project is that it was poor final outcome but the intensions of the sequence were good, the poor outcome could have been caused from poor project management from possibly the wrong team member having the wrong role that contributes to the conclusive outcome which made a interesting but boring final project sequence.

From watching this animation sequence a lot of ideas have been generated of what possible things could be included in the current teams final animation.
The example shown gave a lot of inspiration of what kind of storyline could be created from the large script that was given and how to show key elements to get the proposed point across to the audience.
